Here is this weeks short-list. A few price patterns and bounces you ought to deposit in your watchlist. However, upon withdrawal of ideas, please leave a few in return. After all, this is a give and take relationship, right?

Am I the only one crazy enough to take a trade on AAPL here? I see it very close to trendline support (depending on where you draw your lines), and i see nothing but great things for this company. I'm a dedicated mac and ipod user, i can't wait to get an iPhone, and i think this stock soars over $100. This is a nice pullback to get in on, in my opinion.

AGE bull flag
CAL retest

what about LLY - maybe bouncing as we speak?

GLDN - Bull Flag

GLD showing a breakout today. The following news came from the investools website: Interesting situation going on in the streetTRACKS Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD) and its relationship to its key moving averages. Let's notice that since the January 5 low at 59.66, the GLD has climbed above its 9, 50 and 200 DMAs, and for the past 3 sessions appears to be consolidating just ABOVE the moving average cluster. This action is potentially extremely constructive, largely because the current consolidation has taken the form of a Bull Flag, which should resolve itself in a thrust to the upside. Such a thrust off of the 50 DMA (et al) typically provides more power to the underlying move. In this particular instance, more power will be welcome as the GLD attempts to hurdle its major May-Jan resistance line at 63.50. If the trendline is successfully hurdled, the GLD will project next to the 68 target zone.
Happy trading.
Sean M.

Would VIP be considered as an ascending triangle as well?
Glenn

not sure if comment on PBY got thru. Ascending triangle with avg. vol.

When do you assume a failed pattern on the cup and handle of CROX.
Should it ever drop below the trend line after it has stared to ascend in the handle?

Jerry
